For the last 10 days the heat here in the East San Francisco Bay Area have been just unbearable. Local weather forecasters predicted temperatures might even reach an unprecedented 107 degrees on Saturday... July 23rd..!

Those temperatures may be tolerable in Phoenix Arizona... but with the humidity here in the San Francisco Bay Area... they were down right dangerous. So... we headed to the beaches of San Francisco to cool off... had an Irish Coffee and visited with some lovely people at the Buena Vista... then we enjoyed a simply wonderful seafood dinner at the ever popular Scoma's on Fisherman's Wharf... and at midnight in San Francisco as we strolled around the Wharf it was a delightful 78 degrees... so we did manage to beat the heat and have a very memorable day..!

"The Sun Devils Hawaiian Luau"...... Cancelled..!

We are sorry to say that for personal reasons "Sun Devil Mary" has cancelled the Hawaiian Luau planned for August 5th. Sun Devils Mary and Mike have always done a wonderful job of hosting this great party we have enjoyed so much... but because of the short notice we simply will not be able to have a Luau this year..!

Several of us Sun Devils were at Laguna del Sol this past week-end and had a really sensational time at the "Hawaiian Luau" there... as well as lots of great fun visiting with good friends along with a wonderful time dancing and socializing..!
