Happy Memorial Day..! Here in the United States Memorial Day is kind of the unofficial start of summer... and if today's weather is any indication of what is to be... we will most certainly have a sensational summer for sure... so... lets all get out and enjoy it starting now..!

Once again the Bay to Breakers was a sensational event drawing thousands upon thousands of runners... walkers and party goers from around the world. Just as in past years we had our share of participants in the race having a great time as well. But this year was pretty special... in fact it was very very special... as this... the 96th running of the Bay to Breakers... was "Won by a Woman"... that's right guys... a woman..! Edna Kiplagat becomes the first woman in history to win this prestigious 12 k run and we want to say "Congratulations Edna"..!

So who are all these naked people running in the race and wearing the Green Hats you ask..? Well... they are the ones who are participating in the most fun and exciting part of the entire Bay to Breakers Race... the "Bare to Breakers" group which is growing more and more every year. If you really want to have fun doing the Bay to Breakers... then join them... and join us to be part of our group next year... the third Sunday in May for a really great experience you will always remember..!

As you know and as we have told you many many times... the Diablo Sun Devils Naturist Club does not get involved in nudist politics as many other naturist organizations seem to want to do... no nude marches or naked bike rides or any other cause actually.

Even though we have been asked to participate in many of these nude events... such as the "Nude Demonstration and Photo Shoot" by Jack Gescheidt at the University of California a couple of weeks ago... we said no... and we have no plans to do this... other than our own "Photo Shoots"... in the future.

We do however... support "Top Freedom for Women" because we really do believe the right to be topless anywhere a man can be is an equal right for all women who wish to have and enjoy that freedom. We want to thank all the women (and men) who have supported "Top Freedom"... including the right to not wear a bra as well..!

Here's is a UK website and commercial for skin-care products that uses full nudity in a non-sexual way. Of course, you could argue they're using sexuality because the people are all young and have idealistic body types. You might further argue that they know that in the general world, nudity is sexual and they are therefore exploiting sex for their ad.

Regardless of the motive, the nudity is casual and the message is decidedly non-sexual in nature. If the whole world spoke and acted this way, there would probably be no need for a naturist movement.
