We hope you have a very Happy Memorial Day..! In the United States most people consider the Memorial Day holiday to be the unofficial start of summer... and if todays great weather is any indication of what summer is going to be like... then it will be sensational... so I think we should all get naked and start enjoying it now..!

The 2008 Bay to Breakers was a once again a sensational event drawing nearly 50 thousand runners... walkers and party goers from around the world. We had our share of participants in the race again this year and we are told everyone had a simply fantastic time doing it..!

So who are all the nude people running in the race and wearing the bright Green Hats... they are the ones who are participating in the most fun and exciting part of the entire Bay to Breakers Race... the "Bare to Breakers" group which is getting bigger every year. If you really want to have fun doing the Bay to Breakers race... then join them... and join us to be part of our group in 2009... always on the third Sunday in May... for a great experience you will no doubt always remember..!

Most of you are aware the Diablo Sun Devils Naturist Club very rarely gets involved in nudist politics as so many other naturist organizations seem to want to do. We don't do nude marches... and we have not joined up with the naked bike riders or any other causes for that matter.

We have been asked to participate in many of these nude events and protests such as the "Nude Demonstration and Photo Shoot" by Jack Gescheidt at the University of California in Berkeley last year... and we have no plans to do anything like this in the future... other than our own "Photo Shoots"... which are always great fun for all but have nothing to do with protesting a single thing..!

The one thing we have always supported is "Top Freedom for Women" however... as we do believe the right to be topless anywhere a man can be is a basic equal right for women. After all... women should have the same right to display the beauty and femininity of their chest just as a man has the right to display the beauty and the masculinity of his..! Many cities and counties in the United States have come to the realization that a woman's chest is no more of a sexual organ than a mans is and have passed laws to allow women to be topless anywhere a man can be topless. One day this will be recognized all across our land and we agree with the Topfree Equal Rights Association which helps women who encounter difficulty going without tops in public places. A woman's chest is no more of a sexual organ than a mans is... and women who wish to enjoy this freedom should be allowed to in our opinion..!

We want to "thank all the wonderful women" who have so graciously supported "Top Freedom" as well as the right to go braless by participating in our "On-Line Top Freedom Photo Protest" which has gained lots of attention by some of our lawmakers and is making a difference.
