We are enjoying being nude on this sensational... very hot bright and sunny day here at the beach in the San Francisco Bay Area... it's in the mid 90's... and as I look out over the calm ocean waters there is a lovely light breeze... it just couldn't be more beautiful..!

Actually the most rainy days ever recorded in the history of the San Francisco Bay Area for the month of March has been 23 until now... and as of yesterday when it rained yet again... we set a new record with 25 of them. It has been very cold... wet... damp and gloomy with dark skies for what is starting to feel like forever here. We can hardly wait for some warm sun shinny weather... wow... it really would feel just wonderful right now....

...a good thing here in San Francisco though..!

If you read the front page story of the San Francisco Chronicle on December 14th of last year like we did... you would have read about a female humpback whale who had become entangled in a spider web of crab traps and lines. She was weighted down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused her to struggle to stay afloat. She also had hundreds of yards of rope wrapped around her body... her tail... her torso... and a line tugging in her mouth.

A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farralone Islands (33 miles outside the Golden Gate) and radioed an environmental group for help. Within a few hours... the rescue team arrived and determined that she was so bad off... the only way to help her was to dive in and untangle her right then and there... a very dangerous proposition. One slap of her tail could kill a would be rescuer. They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her.

When she was finally free... the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver... one at a time... and nudged them... pushing them gently around... she was thanking them. Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives. The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth says her eye was following him the whole time... and he will never ever be the same...!

Where would men be if it weren't for women..?

A women's lib speaker was addressing a large group and said "Where would men be today if it were not for women"..?

She paused a moment... and looked around the room. "I repeat, where would man be today if it were not for woman"..?

From the back of the room came a voice... "He'd be in the Garden of Eden eating strawberries"..!
