My wife and I go up there as often as time and finances permit. We haul our boat up there at least twice a year for vacation and intersperse those visits with some camping, kayaking and just hiking in. When the weather up there is questionable, we tend to hit the South Yuba River in Nevada County. I was pleased to see some of your pics were shot there too. Edwards Crossing and the waterfall at the creek was familiar as were some other pics that looked like upriver at Bridgeport. I have frequented the Nevada County vicinity for years.
